Personalised Universal Design

Tom Silbiger’s objective is making Universal Design more inclusive by allowing personalisation through focusing on the participant’s experience and the experience that our design enables or creates. Tom will investigate this by analyzing public spaces in Denmark and abroad, researching the different approaches designers use to UD and registering participants actions and experience in these spaces, their needs, and ideas of improvements.

Tom plans to conduct his investigation in the summer and autumn of 2024 in Copenhagen, Barcelona, Berlin and Belfast.
